Founded in 1876 in Brockton, Massachusetts by Charles Eaton, Etonic began as Eaton and Co., a single storefront focused on providing safe, warm and waterproof footwear for soldiers during the Civil War era.
Following America’s growing sports enthusiasm in the early 20th century, the brand found favor early on among athletes and quickly became the standard in the golf industry with iconic ambassadors like Arnold Palmer embracing the brand’s innovation. In the late 1970s, Etonic® entered the running shoe race, donning the feet of one of history’s greatest long distance runners — Bill Rodgers.
Today Etonic® shoes are designed with timeless originality and unapologetic vibrance, inspiring trailblazers and difference-makers to uncover their unique style. Every pair of Etonic® shoes is an invitation to explore the unexpected.
